I got up Saturday and Sunday morning to this:
The two of them have quickly gone back sharing a shelf peacefully like they use to do before Sophie went crazy.
Thankfully it appears that things are getting back to normal because it was really stressful to see the bunnies acting badly towards on another and just having to keep them apart was the worst. Once we got Sophie fixed, the closer it came time to put them together the harder it was to keep them apart during the day or night. The last few days before we started letting them stay together we actually had to use treats to trick them in their respective cages, which I hated to do but I didn’t want to put them back together until one of us was there to watch them. In the end I’m sure we wouldn’t of had any problems putting them back together over night as early a Wednesday but considering it took getting Sophie fixed and nearly two weeks for Sawyer to accept her again and essentially forgive her, I don’t regret holding off. They are getting back into their old routines and I can breath a sigh of relief because I know they’re back to being the happy little bunny couple they use to be.
