She was wore out and had found a comfy spot near her new friend Monkey. I had actually put him in her cage a few days before the surgery so that she could have a friend with her for the trip to the vet. This little fella also went to the vet with Sawyer too.
That was Friday, I swear if I hadn’t been there to take Sophie to the vet and had seen her shaved belly and where the surgery had been done I wouldn’t have known by the way she was acting last night she had even had surgery a few days ago. She was already started training for the Bunny Olympics last night with a little sprinting around the living room and high jumping in a very Tigger like fashion. It’s good to see her bounce back so quickly, she’s not at all moody and is actually being a little bit affectionate. And thankfully she and Sawyer were best buds last night.
Sophie had wore herself out and Sawyer came over and laid down next to her and though you can’t tell it in the picture Sawyer actually has his ear flopped over her back. There wasn’t any fighting and while there was a little bit of chasing there wasn’t the least bit of tenseness or anxiety from either of them last night. Were still keeping them apart until Sophie heals and we are sure they are ok together but hopefully were on out way to bunny bliss!
Glad my grand rabbits are now getting along and Sophie is well on her way to a complete recovery. She inherited her ability to bounce back from her Mom's side of the family. lol
